Arshia Akhtar is a trailblazing Pakistani female race car driver who joined Panthers Motorsports in 2025 to compete in Formula 4 and Formula 3. Born in Pakistan and raised in Saudi Arabia, she is the first and only FIA Pro-licensed female Formula 4 driver from Pakistan.

Arshia’s Journey
A "first" for Pakistan:
Akhtar’s entry into the Formula racing circuits marks a historic moment for Pakistan, as she is the first female driver of Pakistani origin to compete at this level.
Path to racing:
Arshia began her motorsport career in karting, a key foundation that shaped her racing skills and competitive edge. She later advanced to car racing through the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), where she was recognized as the “Most Improved Driver.” In her debut season, she achieved an impressive 4th place finish in the final standings.
Breaking barriers:
She is considered an inspiration for women in motorsport, challenging stereotypes in a male-dominated sport.
Beyond the track:
In addition to her racing career, Akhtar is a clinical scientist working in cancer research.
